A Letter from the Artist

When I started out doing makeup it was just something fun to do. I had been coloring all my life and makeup was just an extension of that…until one day when the understanding of what I was really doing with makeup sunk in.

Long story short, there was a young girl who wanted her makeup done like mine. She was a quiet girl who didn’t say much. After I finished her eyes, she looked in the mirror and began to smile. Her mother explained to me that her father had recently passed away. Her reaction to the makeup I had done was the happiest her mom had seen her in months. The mother thanked me and then gave me a HUGE hug. I was sad for her loss but grateful that I was able to make her feel good…even for a moment.

I was amazed! How could something as small as eye shadow have that kind of effect on someone? At that very second, I began to realize the sheer magnitude and power of my profession. I am able to help you step out of whatever you are going through, even for a moment, and see the true beauty God has given you. It feels so magical!

Over the years I have had the honor of being trained in such brands as Stila, Make Up Forever, Dior, Cargo, Bare Essentials, Nars, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Benefit, Smashbox, Anastasia, and extensive training in M.A.C. cosmetics. It has also been a privilege to meet so many different people from all walks of life by way of photo shoots, TV shows, movies, fashion shows, special events and various occasions.

I often find myself correcting people when they say, “You love makeup!” The truth is, I love what I can do to help people feel good about themselves by using makeup. Helping people is my passion. As a Makeup Artist, it is my mission to enhance the beauty God has already blessed you with….and it is also my pleasure to do so.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for stopping by,

Corinne.
